At the mike is Keven Plank, President of UNDERARMOUR...he joined us in year 2 as a major sponsor adding big money for the winners...He help make our Marathon one of the best in the country(that is Kevin's son pictured with him)
We had over 20,000 runners, 50 states iand the District of Columbia and 47 different countries...This was a proud day...Oh...I sprang my ankle last night...slipping down my steps...but I will be back to run next year...great day anyway...just seeing all t Lt. Governor Anthony Brown stops by the Marathon to cheer runners on. When Gov. O'Malley was Mayor I suggested to him because Katy was training for a DC Marathon that Baltimore should have it owns Marathon. He said OK...and the rest is history!
