Lt. Governor Anthony Brown stops by the Marathon to cheer runners on. When Gov. O'Malley was Mayor I suggested to him because Katy was training for a DC Marathon that Baltimore should have it owns Marathon. He said OK...and the rest is history! At the mike is Keven Plank, President of UNDERARMOUR...he joined us in year 2 as a major sponsor adding big money for the winners...He help make our Marathon one of the best in the country(that is Kevin's son pictured with him) This is Lee Corrigan the organizer of the Marathon...we had (5) companies vying to organize our Marathon...Lee's company Corrigan Sports gave the city the best proposal...He recognized the vision...I wanted the marathon, half marathon and team marathon al
